July 24th visitors

After Bonnie dropped Ty and Josh off at the airport Thursday, she and Becky & children came to Oakley for a couple of days. Lorilee and Millie also came down Thursday. Since this is the 24th of July celebration weekend, Bonnie helped me man a water stop for the Goose Creek Runoff this morning before she and Becky left for home. Lorilee & Millie & I went to the program at the church featuring LaVell Edwards. We also had to bake potatoes for the bbq
at the park so we stayed for lunch. We are just hanging out now until time for the parade.

Here is Sarah Leilani Toribau, born June 17, 2008. I got to spend a few days with the Toribau family helping out. We are so happy to have a beautiful baby girl added to the family. Sarah is named after Grandma McHenry and is my 12th grandchild. Congratulations Becky & Isoa!

I spent a few days in Washington, Ut last week. I had a good time, scrapbooking, shopping, eating, visiting, etc. Thanks guys!

It has been a rainy Memorial Day weekend. We (John, Kelli, Skyler, Kelsey & I) took our coats and went to Glenns Ferry Sunday after church. When we got there it was 79 degrees and perfectly calm - beautiful! What a shock! Today we hurried up to the cemetery in Oakley between rains to decorate the graves. John & I went. We met Jim & LaRue up there. Nathan & Karlee were here for lunch. They have been camping up Trapper creek. It was good to see them.

Temple Day

I had a nice day yesterday. I rode the stake temple bus to the Boise temple. It left Pella at 6:45 a.m., picked up people at the Burley West Stake center and we were off. We arrived in Boise about 9:40 a.m. and had plenty of time to attend the 10:30 a.m. and the 12:30 p.m. sessions. We had lunch in the temple cafeteria and I got home about 6:30 p.m. It was nice to just relax, visit, read and sleep during the travel time and of course the temple experience was wonderful.
