Once a week the AP's take orders for the Weinersnitchel. They think it's the best of all dining so we humor them. Of course we have to have the foot long dogs. Mine is chili-cheese with onions. From left to right, Me, Sister Abrath, Elder Burr, Elder Milburn, and Sister Deeben. Elder Deeben's diet forbids hotdogs so he ate his lunch in his office and answered the phone. The rest of us are in the President's office. He is seldom here, but the AP's called and tried to get him and his wife to order up and join us, No Luck!

Posing
Here I am posing with the statues at a country
club. Actually the statues look pretty good to the side of me. We were out doing a homes tour and our guides, the Ackerman sisters wanted me to see these statues. All the homes we toured were Pueblo Style with lots of tile. Very nice. We are going again this Saturday. It's the last weekend for the parade of homes.

Bonnie's Girls (And Mel)
It has been a rainy Memorial Day weekend. We (John, Kelli, Skyler, Kelsey & I) took our coats and went to Glenns Ferry Sunday after church. When we got there it was 79 degrees and perfectly calm - beautiful! What a shock! Today we hurried up to the cemetery in Oakley between rains to decorate the graves. John & I went. We met Jim & LaRue up there. Nathan & Karlee were here for lunch. They have been camping up Trapper creek. It was good to see them.

Temple Day
I had a nice day yesterday. I rode the stake temple bus to the Boise temple. It left Pella at 6:45 a.m., picked up people at the Burley West Stake center and we were off. We arrived in Boise about 9:40 a.m. and had plenty of time to attend the 10:30 a.m. and the 12:30 p.m. sessions. We had lunch in the temple cafeteria and I got home about 6:30 p.m. It was nice to just relax, visit, read and sleep during the travel time and of course the temple experience was wonderful.

Mother's Day Weekend Visitors
Well, I can't seem to get my pictures up. Last Monday I made a quick trip to Lehi to get a haircut and help Becky move the boys into one room. Also to with Kade an early 6th birthday. I came home Thursday and Bonnie and Austin came to Oakley Friday. Austin and Skyler had a good time on the 4-wheelers and motorcycles while Bonnie and I and Kelsey loaded a pickup load of stuff from the Edgar house and hauled it to the roll off station. I had lots of mother's day wishes and gifts - thanks you guys, I love you.

Fun and productive week
This week Deb, Hailey & Coltin came to visit during their spring school break. We tied two quilts, went to Becky's where Deb painted the nursery in preparation for the new baby, and I went to my checkup. We visited Mike & Peggy at Linda's in South Jordan and came back to Oakley on Thursday. Lorilee and Millie came to Oakley that day so we have had a good visit. (Brian is in Alaska on business). We sprayed weeds at the cemetery and got a little sun on our winter-weary souls.
